The Mercenary is the primary specialization class of the Warrior, the other being the Sword Master. Mercenaries can act as both DPS and Support roles in parties as they have both DPS, party buff and enemy debuff skills. They are more heavily armored with Sword Masters but deal less damage due to their slowness.

Overview

• AOE skills tree - creates large shockwaves or attacks which hits all enemies around the Mercenary.
• Forward Strikes tree - pushes enemies back with strong physical close range or medium range skills.
• Howl tree - has both party buffs and enemies debuff.

Equipment

Mercenaries are able to choose between the Axe or the Hammer as their main weapon and Gauntlet as their sub weapon.

Specialization

At Level 44, Mercenaries can begin the 2nd job specialization quest.

Secondary Specialization Quest

Accept the 2nd job specialization quest from the remote quest tab in your quest list. Report to Old Hound Jack in Riverwort Whart(Karacule Hut). Return to Lotus Marsh and speak with Master Warrior Pedro. Clear East Ancient Armory and defend against Velskud attacks at the end. Clear West Ancient Armory. Clear Riverwort Ruins. Return to Riverwort Whart and speak with Geraint Sword. Do a specialization trial where you will be able to try out that specialization skills. Decide on which specialization you want to advance to and report back to Master Warrior Pedro.

Barbarian

Focuses on destructive skills using axes.

Destroyer

Focuses on the laying waste of their opponents using hammers.
