The Monolith, called by the elves of Anu Arendel as the Goddess' Heart, is a mysterious entity that is regarded as the "only thing that connects the world of Lagendia to the goddess Altea". One widespread fact about the Monolith is that its destruction would allow the inhabitants of Mist Land to invade Lagendia, so its location was kept a secret to many.

What is popularly known as the Monolith is actually a vast region of land accessible to Anu Arendel. The Monolith region is divided into two areas: the Outer Monolith comprised of the Lava River area, and the Inner Monolith comprised of Fire Mountain area. Despite the vastness of the Monolith region, entering the area is usually prohibited to most beings because of the effects of the Monolith's presence that can wear down the sanity of those who are not dragons or are unprotected by one. Even so, the barren landscape, which is at times accompanied by sulfur deposits and molten rock, is no safe place to travel.
