The Heretic is a Spin-off Class derived from the Clerics. Heretics are melee fighters who deal a series of destructive attacks using mace and shield. They specialise in powerful wide area attacks using resources accumulated from continuous attacks.
Heretics can proceed to become Arch Heretics at Level 50.
A dark messenger of justice, the Arch Heretic will stop at nothing to deliver holy punishment in God’s name! Heretics share similar background to Clerics, beginning in Mana Ridge and undergoing the same Main Story. However, before the main story starts, Heretics face a phantom figure who attempts to guide them through the darkness.

Unlike the base classes which perform Specialization, Heretics undergo a different kind of class advancement called Awakening, in which the Spin-off Class' true abilities are fully unlocked. At Level 50, Heretics can begin the Awakening Quest.

When Heretics can control Goddess’s nightmare, he can use the power to awaken as [Arch Heretic]. When awakened, his speed on the ground increases substantially and his weapon is changed to “Heretic Sword” that can be extended to increase attack power and attack range.
